My name is Mark Wheeler and I have good eyes. This site presents my design blog and portfolio as well as providing a home for various other projects. Based in London, I produce graphic design across a large variety of mediums and also like to post interesting work of others that I find.
B-Reel
I'm happy to say I've now joined the guys at B-Reel in their new Shoreditch office. I'm sure this will mean plenty of fresh new projects being posted here over the coming months!
Drambuie Pursuit re-design
Here at Mook we just recently launched a re-design for Drambuie's Pursuit UK site. It's quite an improvement on last year's, expanding on the day/night theme and really showcasing the video content.
My main involvement was producing all the Flash animations & parallax effects for the intro and headers. There's a lot of little details hidden away in there!
Gardening in Habbo
Recently we've worked on a selection of online advertising for the NHS to inform teenagers and parents about the HPV vaccine. Perhaps the most interesting part of this campaign though was a room we created within Habbo where teenage girls could chat to eachother and ask NHS nurses about the vaccine. We art directed, and the Habbo designers put together this unique (and popular!) garden for us.

Observed: Barcinski & Jeanjean
These guys have put themselves together an amazing agency site. One of the bits you may miss though is this rather incredible 3D trip into, presumably, their apartment; a very clever combination of some existing techniques.

Feed Your Obsession throughout autumn
We've updated Feed Your Obsession again for autumn, this time featuring on-location photos of some interesting enthousiasts telling the story of their first pair of Nikes.
Observed: Riitta Ikonen likes to dress up
I might be a little partial to things from Finland at the moment as I'm off to Helsinki next weekend. Riitta Ikonen is Finnish and has some interesting ideas that seem to almost all be centred around her wittily crafted costumes - photographed both in Finland and elsewhere. I'm a particular fan of the Human Nylon series of photos.
Feed Your Obsession this summer
We've given Feed Your Obsession a summer make-over with a new season of Nike Heritage trainers and some new interviews with three European collectors.
Observed: Alex Prager
This is a nice combination of great photos and a simple website that shows real attention to detail. Check out Alex Prager's pristine photos and neat website.
